STEM is a new way of education, based in four different subjects: Science, Tecnology, Engineering and Math. Instead of teaching these subjects separately, STEM joins them together as one. This could be used as a tool that can help you for life
STEM vs STEAM
Sience, Tecnology, Engineering and Mathematics or STEM is an important point in schools nowadays.
Some people are proposing that Art is included on STEM, which would be STEM+ Art = STEAM. Te goal of it would be to take Sience, Tecnology, Engineering, Math and add Art to it.

In the USA STEM is changing lives and the world is becoming very competitve, and girls are a secret "weapon" of the USA in terms of keeping their position as the economic leaders of the 21st century. Girl scouts are known for being able to do whatever they purpose. These girls are always overcoming the dares that ivolve STEM. For instance making an electric circuit or making artificial prosthesis.

According to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Colombia is located in the 63rd place in the ranking of 128 countries that were evaluated, this means we need to do something to get higher on this list. Margarita Gomez, a teacher is fighting to make us go higher on this list, with a programme called Pequeños Cientificos, this programme allows kids from public schools to acess STEM easily and in a fun and active way.
